Hi! This is is my first page and I am sure it will undergo many revisions before I am satisfied.

I am not looking for any awards. I just want this page to reflect me.

Employment

I am an Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the Fashion Design Department. I am the Knitwear Specialization teacher for the department. If you would like to see the calendar for one of the courses I teach on knitting use this link.

I also teach woven patternmaking and CAD programs for patternmaking. I am qualified to teach draping and industrial sewing too.

I have been teaching a the Fashion Institute for about 16 years. starting as an Adjunct Instructor and working my way up.

For those who may not be aware of the qualifications for teaching in my department, we are required to have at least 7 years of industry experience to begin teaching and we must keep current with the market. We do this by continuing with our full-time jobs in the industry while teaching part-time. For those of us that become full-time we keep our knowledge current by doing free-lance and/or consulting work.

Education

Currently going for a M.S.in Instructional Technology and an Advanced Certificate in Distance Learning at the New York Institute of Technology. I only need 12 credits to complete both.
